Femi Jaiyeola, Founder & President
Dr. Femi Jaiyeola is a compassionate and dedicated professional driven by a deep-seated passion for helping others find a better future. With a diverse skill set and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact, he tirelessly works to empower individuals, communities, and organizations to overcome challenges and achieve their fullest potential.Dr. Jaiyeola has pursued extensive education and training to equip himself with the knowledge and skills necessary to enact meaningful change. He holds a Doctoral Degree in Cultural Studies, which has provided him with a solid academic foundation. His expertise extends to understanding diverse statuses and situations of human beings, enabling him to address a wide range of issues affecting individuals and communities. Lee Spakousky, Member
Lee Spakousky, a vital member of the Better Future Finders board, brings a wealth of experience as a retired engineer specializing in the installation and repair of mining equipment and machinery, along with structural and welding certifications. Since his retirement in 2019, he has successfully run a private consulting firm in assisting his customers with their engineering and fabrication needs. Beyond his professional expertise, Lee is a senior minister, community builder, and influencer, dedicated to bridging relationships and empowering people. His passion lies in fostering progress and happiness, making him an invaluable asset to our organization as we strive to create a positive impact in the lives of those we serve
Maria A Jaiyeola, Treasurer
Maria A. Jaiyeola, our esteemed Treasurer at Better Future Finders, holds an MBA in Finance from Edge Hill University, UK, and currently serves as an Account Specialist at Yakima Savings and Loans Bank. With a background at Catholic Charities and a history of volunteering as a Youth Mentor at the Salvation Army, Maria brings not just financial expertise but a deep commitment to community service. Her role transcends numbers; it's about weaving financial strategies into avenues of progress and empowerment. Maria's heart for supporting dreams aligns seamlessly with our mission at Better Future Finders, where she stands as a catalyst for turning every opportunity into a stepping stone for those seeking a better future.
Chelsea Severn, Member
Chelsea Severn, a devoted mother of three and passionate advocate for youth empowerment, brings a wealth of experience to her role on the board of Better Future Finders. With a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Secondary Education, specializing in English, Chelsea has long been dedicated to inspiring young minds. From her time tutoring immigrant children at The Open Door in New York City to coaching track and field at both high school and collegiate levels, she has consistently championed the potential of young people. Beyond the classroom, Chelsea's love for the outdoors shines through her work as an alpine ski coach and instructor. Together with her husband, she co-founded the White Pass Foundation, a nonprofit aimed at providing underserved youth in the Yakima Valley with access to mountain experiences. Through her involvement with Better Future Finders, Chelsea continues her mission of guiding youth towards fulfilling futures. Her unwavering dedication to nurturing individual talents ensures that her impact resonates far beyond the boardroom, inspiring countless young leaders to reach their full potential.
Augustine Attah, Member
Augustine Attah is a dedicated member of the Board of Directors at Better Future Finders (BFF) with a passion for youth empowerment. Currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Neuroscience, Augustine brings a wealth of problem-solving, project, and people management perspectives to the organization. Augustine is grounded in his Christian faith and embodies values of compassion and service. Augustine's enthusiasm for empowering the youth is evident in both his academic pursuits and his active involvement with BFF. As a young and energetic individual, Augustine is committed to steering BFF towards a future where underprivileged youth can thrive and achieve their full potential, making him an invaluable asset to the organization’s mission. He currently serves as a member of the executive board of the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) at Washington State University, Pullman.
